Programming Café on 10th February 2026

Join us for more programming!

We will host our fourth Programming Café on 10th of Feburary at 11:00 (until 13:00) in Van der Goot M2-10.

Topic: Clean your data using OpenRefine

Is your research data messy? Do you want to clean your data efficiently while also keeping track of all the changes? In this fourth session of the Programming Café, you will learn how to find and correct errors in your raw data using clustering techniques. We will show you how to easily delete unwanted characters, unify spelling, and merge columns or rows that have been mistakenly separated, all while keeping track of every step you take when working with your data.

The second part of the Café is designed to help you with your projects! Any questions in regard to how to use the learned knowledge for your own code? Struggling with a bug? Need some brainstorming with colleagues? We got your back!
